  REVIEW: BOB DYLAN - THE COMPLETE BUDOKAN 1978 “A poet is a naked person … some people say that I am a poet.” - Bob Dylan, 1965 (SONY) An expanded version of the 1978/9 Bob Dylan live album, At Budokan, is being released Friday, November 17. This is the perfect opportunity to reevaluate the album, as I’m sure others have written. It's an excellent document of a transitional time in Dylan’s career. There’s a lot more going on here than meets the eye, however, so I’d like to address that in the review.  This album and tour has had such a sordid history, and from what I can tell from the headlines of other articles, that aspect has  already been covered quite well. Hello and welcome to the Boston Harold Video Podcast. My special guests today are Erin C. Callahan and Court Carney. They are the editors of a new book about Bob Dylan’s setlists and performances, to be published on November 17, titled The Politics and Power of Bob Dylan’s Live Performances - Play a Song for Me (Routledge).  (Routledge) This video interview, divided into three bite-sized chapters, is more like a conversation with friends than an interrogation.
