"Nothing Is Real" - Interview with the hosts of the world's most Fab! Gear! Beatles podcast (Boston Harold Video Podcast)

Hello and welcome to the Boston Harold Video Podcast.

My very special guests today are the hosts of my absolute favorite podcast, Nothing Is Real, which is all about the Beatles. As most of their episodes begin, "Everybody thinks they know the Beatles, but how much do they really know?"

(INTERVIEW: Live via Zoom from Dublin, Belfast, and Massachusetts, May 30, 2021)

Hosted by Jason Carty (#teamPaul) and Steven Cockcroft (#teamGeorge), who were crowned the "Beatles Brains of Ireland" a few years back, Nothing Is Real - A Beatles Podcast - is a loving, lighthearted yet in-depth look at the Beatles from unusual angles, with their encyclopedic knowledge the building block for discussions and perspectives way beyond the scope of most Beatles fans, including Yours Truly.

In this video interview, we discuss, among other things, how they met and became the "Beatles Brains of Ireland," how the podcast came about, and how it's constructed. In order to illuminate what is unique, entertaining, and informative about Nothing Is Real, we also discuss some of the more interesting theories and opinions from a few of my favorite episodes, including proof that Yoko Ono was at the sessions for "The Ballad of John & Yoko," why the 1970 McCartney album may have begun as a completely experimental album, an eye-opening detailed account of the "My Sweet Lord" plagiarism case, who wrote the Nothing Is Real theme song, and so much more. In fact, it's all too much!
